i hope you are having happy holidays. just listened 10 times in a row to
george harrison's "run of the mill" off of all things must pass, disc one.
such an amazing horn arrangement, you'll see. tim and i had a blast last
saturday at the double door. many thanks to jesse malin for having us on the
bill. he and the band put on an amazing show....hell he was on top of the
bar singing neil young's "helpless." that's what people need to see dammit!
many great plans in the works for the Schubas residency in February....every
monday...so get your school work done early and get out to the shows. it's
not too early to start spreading the word to all your people and their
people's people. we will be doing a food drive each monday, with canned
good donations going to the Greater Chicago Food Depository....more on that
soon. My special guests for the residency shows are now posted on the
website.
we will very soon have a message board up on the site. so all of you can
plot and scheme and change the world around every corner. we are coming to
where you are.
